ATEX Salesman
Job Summary
Houston area enclosure manufacturer looking for experienced sales professional. This candidate must have a successful sales history in marketing ATEX/IECEx rated enclosures. They must be knowledgeable of hazardous area classifications and intrinsic safety requirements. Manufacturer will offer a negotiable base plus commission and benefits package.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
Utilizes product and application knowledge of Bison’s ATEX/IEC products to size and select the right product.
Reviews RFQ to determine customer requirements and suitability of Bison’s product offerings to meet customer needs.
Make judgments about pricing/discount structures considering the price list and availability of product vs. customer need, overall size of the opportunity, and competition for the product line. Where needed, will liaise with VP Operations.
Participate in any special projects as set forth by management, not included above.
Other duties as assigned
Follow strategy & tactical plan laid out by Sales Manager to market ATEX/IEC products & grow sales in this arena.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years of in-depth technical knowledge.
3-5 year’s industry experience in a client-responsive environment.
Ability to assist customers in developing requirements and statements of work.
Ability to manage all aspects of ATEX/IEC solutions from design, build, wiring and testing of proposed solutions for customers.
Understand the features/benefits of BISON PROFAB, INC. compared to competitor products. Know and sell the advantages to the customer.
Ability to read ATEX/IEC system solution design specifications and technical drawings.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in office management software, Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; in addition to learning company ERP system
Capable of problem-solving, hands-on approach, and solution focused skills are essential to this position.
Other basic skills that are required are exceptional presentation skills, able to lead training, interpersonal skills, time management skills, self-motivated, self- starter, and able to adjust to changing project needs.
