TITLE:                              Press Brake Operator




Summary of essential job functions

Ability to listen and follow directions.  

Utilize previously prepared programs and assigned tooling to complete each job.

Set each job up based on program instructions, work order instructions and job prints

Must have a full understanding of print reading and geometric tolerances and how they relate to the finished part.

Operator needs to have an understanding of flat pattern layout.

Change tooling as needed, make adjustments when required.

Assist in other departments as required by Production manager.    

Quality control checks: Check enclosures for cosmetic deformities and notify QC Manager  / Production Manager of problems.     

Attendance: You are required to clock in on time and be at your work station ready to work.. 

Be able to effectively and safely operate all equipment in the department once trained. 

Keep work area clean and organized.   Ensure a safe working environment. 

Work any special projects are requested by management.  

Innovation:  Make recommendations to Production Manager regarding suggestions for improving efficiency,  etc. 

Operator must be able to lift 40lbs.

Notify Supervisor of any problems or Malfunctions of machine.

Operator must have ability to work with minimal supervision.

Must be able to maintain a steady level of production throughout shift.
