Job summary
Perform general labor as directed by Production Manager. Job entails peeling, peming, deburring and general shop maintenance. Must meet quality levels and performance standards.
Bison Profab is a UL & IP listed company with ISO 9001 approval. We manufacture aluminum, stainless and carbon electrical enclosures. We currently have several openings for Full Time Fabrication Helpers in our manufacturing facility with one year or more experiance for day shift and night shift. Fabrication Helpers must be able to read and understand english, follow instructions, and meet or exceed production standards and safely opperate and maintain equipment efficently. Summary of essential job functions
Ability to listen and follow directions.
Assist in other departments as required by Production manager.
Quality control checks: Check enclosures for cosmetic deformities and notify QC Manager / Production Manager of problems.
Keep track of stock parts and let the Production Manager know if we need stock parts before we run out. Track inventory as requested by Production Manager. .
Work at an efficient pace to ensure enclosures are built correctly and scheduled due dates are met. Meet or exceed production standards as identified by management (i.e. . . BBA-1M to be welded at a min. rate of 4 per hour.)
Attendance: You are required to clock in on time and be at your work station ready to work..
Be able to effectively and safely operate all equipment in the department once trained.
Complete accurate Scrap and Rework forms on all material that needs correcting.
Keep work area clean and organized. Ensure a safe working environment.
Work any special projects are requested by management.
Innovation: Make recommendations to Production Manager regarding suggestions for improving efficiency, etc.
Minimum requirements
Pass the test and operate the forklifts.
Organizational skills to prioritize work flow
Abilities required
Must be able to lift 40lbs.
Must be able to effectively and efficiently operate drills, saws, rivet gun, caulk gun, grinders and hand tools.
