Bison Profab Upgrades Capabilities

Bison Profab Interior

Here at Bison we manufacture a number of enclosure designs for industries such as Traffic control, Waste water treatment, Oil and gas, Solar and wind generation, electrical distribution, Utility, commercial, and even residential. If you can name it, we have designed and built an enclosure to fit the application. In the past few years, to become more efficient and provide a more competitive price, we have upgraded all of our equipment. This wide range of capacities has allowed us to manufacture more than just enclosures. We can produce laser cut, punched, and bent weldments, brackets, parts and assemblies.

Our Amada LCG 3015 Laser is capable of cutting up to a 60 x 120-inch sheet of 5/8 thick carbon steel, ½ inch thick stainless steel, and 3/8 inch thick aluminum, as well as any thickness below. Our Amada EMK turret punch presses have the ability to punch a huge range of holes, shapes, knock-outs, and extrusions with speed and accuracy. Bending parts with an Amada Astro II 100NT robotic press brake, HFE 1303, and an RG 5020 press brake coupled with precision ground and labeled tooling produces highly accurate results. Our skilled welding staff and an OTC FA300-I fusion arc robotic weld cell can provide unmatched weld quality on your stainless, carbon steel, and aluminum weldment or assembly.
We have a few more tricks up our sleeve. An ACF corner former can produce a finished weld free cold formed flanged corner on stainless, carbon steel, and aluminum in thicknesses from 16 to 11 gauge. Giving products an extra professional look.

Last but not least our Rampf CNC pour in place gasket machine. It’s capable of foaming a ¼ x ½ thick seamless silicon Fermasil gasket 48 x 96 inches in 3 dimensions. The Fermasil gasket manufactured by Sonderhoff has an operating temperature range of -60°C to 180°C and temporarily up to 350°C. This is a great option for doors, covers, gland plates, etc.
So the next time you need a part, weldment, or assembly manufactured, “think outside the box” and contact us here at Bison Profab.
